SUBIC FOODTRIP: Food Guide in Subic Bay

Through North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Subic Bay has always been a convenient roadway for everyone’s summer escape to Zambales. May it be at Sitio Liwliwa, Pundaquit, and its nearby cove and islands to Crystal Beach.

But still, Subic Bay is no way as just a roadway (ooh that rhyme) and a stopover. Finding a good reason to give it a full stop? Here are some restaurants you can visit for good grub!

1. Spencer’s Gastro Pub

Spencer’s Gastro Pub is the official restaurant of Best Western Hotel Subic. They serve a wide array of cuisines from American, Continental, French & Filipino. It has a new vibrant & cozy ambiance which you will enjoy on top of that is a live band on the schedule

2. The Sands Resto Grill

Heading to the famous Light House Marina Resort of Subic Bay is The Sands Resto Grill. If you want a romantic dinner facing the whole stretch of Marina Bay, The Sands Restaurant has the best location for you.

Serving an extensive selection of Western and Filipino dishes which appeals to international guest whenever they visit Subic. Withal is a live band which usually consist of a guitarist/pianist and a soloist.

They also have buffet breakfast which serving starts at 6am – 10am.

3. Horizon Restaurant

“Your home far away from home,” this is the tagline of Subic Park Hotel ever since they started. You would notice why when you set foot on the hotel. Every corner reminds a familiar feeling and gives that comfortable, homey vibes. Showing you pictures below.

The Horizon Restaurant also holds this branding by serving homey comfort Filipino food. One of their best sellers is their Pansit and Kare Kare.

4. Holy Grounds Coffee House

Holy Grounds Coffee House is the newest coffee station at Subic Bay. Because of the rustic good vibes of the place, many people are drawn to it making it almost always a full house. Inspiring words and Bible verses all over the place, friendly staff and good food.

Favorite Cappuccino and Cafe Latte are still on top of our selections. But their Ferrero Rocher Cold Drink and Marshmallow Hot Chocolate are good choices for the sweet tooth. You should not also miss their selections of pasta. We recommend their Pesto and Carbonara.

5. Teppan 101

Experience Teppanyaki style at Teppan 101! If you ant pyro action and experience on your next food trip, you should consider this place as a place to be. Yup, just like what you see on a famous cooking show, this restaurant cooks your food in front of you. Flaming and grilling every fresh food to serve you.
