SPENCER’S GASTRO PUB: Christmas Season Feast

It’s the most wonderful time of the year as we all say and Best Western Plus – Hotel Subic prepared a yuletide celebration’s sumptuous feast at Spencer’s Gastro Pub for this whole Christmas shindig!

For only PHP 599 per person, you get to enjoy their mix and match menu for the holidays starting December 20 – 30, 2018 especially served for lunch and dinner.

This year Spencer’s want to celebrate family so they thought of having a sharing buffet. Best features for Meet Entrée are Baby Back Ribs and Grilled Beef Tips on Mushroom Jus, and for Seafood you can choose between Cajun Spiced Mahi or the Medley Seafood Salpicao.

Savor precious moments with your family and friends together with these heartwarming comfort foods this Christmas.


FIRST: Head count, tell the waiter how many are you in a group who will dine for the buffet.

SECOND: Choose between selections of Salad, Appetizer, Soup, Meat and Seafood Entree and Side Dish.

THIRD: Enjoy Spencer’s Gastro Pub’s Recreational Spot, billiards, dart and beer pong while waiting for your food. 🙂

~ Salad ~

Best Western Salad : Romaine lettuce, sun dried tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, red onion and house dressing.

Caesar Salad : Romaine lettuce, Bacon bits with House made croutons. Homemade dressing.

The homemade dressing is made of virgin mustard, olive oil and red wine vinegar.

 ~ Appetizers ~

Stuffed Potato Skins : Half potato remove the flesh then mixed with flour beef, kidney beans, cumin coriander with salsa of mozzarella cheese and sour cream.

Pulled Pork Quesadillas : Pork shoulders, dry rub with cumin coriander, paprika, salt and pepper, onion powder and roast it within 45 mins. Tortilla dough slowly cooked with olive oil and paprika.

~ Soup ~

Wild Mushroom Soup : Pounds assorted wild mushrooms, chopped white onion, carrot, stalk celery served with garlic bread.

Pumpkin Soup : Heat stock, salt, pumpkin, onion, garlic, and peppercorns. Stir in heavy cream. Pour into soup bowls and garnish with fresh parsley and sliced pumpkin.

 ~ Entree’s Meat ~

Baby Back Ribs : Dry rub with cumin coriander oven baked while basting with pan drippings, stock and other liquids. Served with fries, bread and boiled Corn cobs, carrots and beans.

Grilled Beef Tips on Mushroom Jus :Grilled sirloin tips to tender then seasoned with salt and pepper stirred with beef broth, and garlic. Jus is whisk in flour, and cook until the sauce is the desired thickness. Stir in the mushrooms served with mushroom sauce spooned over.

~ Entree’s Seafood ~

Cajun Spiced Maji : Smashed Potato mixed with lemon, parsley, salt and pepper, spinach saute with olive oil and butter. Blackend Mahi mahi baste with homemade cajun spice with mango salsa with onion, tomato and coriander.

Best Western Seafood Salpicao : Shrimp, mussel, squid and vegetables – onion, red and green bell pepper, celery,  mushroom and carrots sauced with pomodoro spiced a bit with Habanero Tabasco.
